Every parent knows the exhaustion of sleepless nights and the uncertainty that comes with major developmental milestones. As a mother myself, I’ve been there—standing in a darkened nursery at 3 a.m., wondering if my daughter would ever sleep through the night, and later, questioning whether I was approaching potty training the right way. These experiences transformed not just my family’s life, but my entire professional mission.
Hello, dear Parents!
I’m Amanda Moreira, a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and over 20 years of experience supporting families through some of their most challenging moments. But my real education began when I became a mother to my two little girls.
Like so many parents, I quickly discovered that no amount of professional training fully prepares you for the reality of parenting. The sleep deprivation was overwhelming, giving me debilitating migranes, ruining my relationship with my husband, and my ability to show up as the parent I wanted to be. Later, when it came time for potty training, I found myself navigating conflicting advice and self-doubt, despite my educational background.
These experiences led me to first become a registered nurse and then pursue specialized certifications in pediatric sleep consulting and potty training through the International Parenting & Health Institute (IPSP). I wanted to combine my medical knowledge and educational background with evidence-based training in these critical areas—not just for my own family, but to help other parents navigate these milestones with confidence and compassion.

Also, I chose to be certified in Special Needs Sleep to be able to help even more families! Sleep is sleep to every child and family. Every brain benefits greatly from better sleep! So now I can also serve families with special needs.

Holistic Approach to Early Childhood
What sets my practice apart is the intersection of my diverse background: the clinical expertise of nursing, the developmental understanding from my education degree, and the real-world empathy that comes from being in the trenches of parenthood myself.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I work with each family to develop personalized strategies that honor your unique child, your parenting style, and your family’s needs.
Whether you’re struggling with a newborn who won’t sleep, a toddler who fights bedtime, or a child who’s ready for potty training, I’m here to provide the guidance, support, and evidence-based strategies you need to move forward with confidence.
Let’s Work Together
After two decades of consulting with families, I can tell you this: you’re not alone in your struggles, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. With the right support and approach, better sleep and successful potty training are within reach.
I’d be honored to support your family on this journey.
