Sleep Consulting
Help Your Child Sleep Through the Night—Finally
If you’re dealing with bedtime battles, frequent night wakings, early morning wake-ups, or naps that are too short (or non-existent), you’re in the right place. I’ll create a customized sleep plan that addresses your specific challenges while respecting your parenting philosophy.
What I Help With:
For Infants (0-12 months):
- Establishing healthy sleep foundations from birth
- Eliminating sleep associations (feeding, rocking, pacifier dependency)
- Extending short naps
- Consolidating nighttime sleep
- Managing sleep regressions (4-month, 8-month, 12-month)
- Moving from bassinet to crib
For Toddlers (1-3 years):
- Bedtime resistance and stalling tactics
- Transitioning from crib to toddler bed
- Eliminating night wakings
- Lengthening naps or managing nap transitions
- Early morning wake-ups (before 6 AM)
- Fear of the dark or separation anxiety at bedtime
For Preschoolers (3-5 years):
- Bedtime boundary-setting
- Nighttime fears and anxiety
- Transitioning to quiet time when naps end
- Room-sharing challenges with siblings
- Staying in their own bed all night
- Establishing consistent sleep routines
My Sleep Training Philosophy
I teach multiple sleep training methods because what works for one family may not work for another.
Gentle Methods:
- Chair method (gradual retreat)
- Pick-up/put-down
- Fading techniques
- Parental presence approaches
More Structured Methods:
- Timed checks (graduated extinction)
- Responsive settling
- Controlled comforting
Your Comfort Level Matters: I will never ask you to do something that doesn’t feel right for your family. We’ll choose methods together based on your child’s temperament, age, and your parenting values.

Potty Training Consulting
Ditch the Diapers with Confidence and Clarity
Potty training doesn’t have to be a power struggle filled with accidents and frustration. With the right timing, approach, and support, your child can successfully transition from diapers to independent toileting—and you can feel confident guiding them there.
What I Help With:
Starting from Scratch:
- Determining readiness signs
- Choosing the right timing for your family
- Selecting an approach that fits your philosophy
- Creating a game plan and gathering supplies
- Preparing your child emotionally
- Managing the first few days
Troubleshooting Challenges:
- Resistance or refusal to use the potty
- Fear of the toilet or potty
- Withholding bowel movements
- Frequent accidents or regression
- Success at home but not at daycare/preschool
Special Situations:
- Potty training with developmental delays
- Strong-willed or highly resistant children
- Preschool enrollment deadlines
- New sibling regression
- Travel or major life transitions during training
My Potty Training Philosophy
Potty training should be positive, pressure-free, and respectful of your child’s readiness. I don’t believe in:
- Starting before your child shows readiness signs
- Shame, punishment, or negative reinforcement
- One-size-fits-all timelines
I DO believe in:
- Following your child’s developmental cues
- Using positive reinforcement and encouragement
- Giving you a clear, step-by-step plan
- Adjusting approaches when something isn’t working
- Celebrating small wins along the way

Sleep Support for Special Needs Families
You’re Not Alone in This Journey
If you’re the parent of a child with autism, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, or sensory processing challenges, you already know that sleep doesn’t come easily. You’ve likely tried “all the things” only to find that conventional sleep advice doesn’t work for your unique child. You’re exhausted, worried, and wondering if peaceful nights are even possible for your family.
They are. And I’m here to help you get there—gently, gradually, and in a way that honors your child’s needs.
A Different Approach for Different Needs
Sleep training for neurodivergent and special needs children isn’t one-size-fits-all. It requires patience, flexibility, and a deep understanding of how sensory sensitivities, anxiety, attention differences, and developmental considerations affect sleep.
My approach is phased and personalized, designed to help your family feel successful in small, manageable increments rather than overwhelming you with drastic overnight changes.
How We Work Together:
Phase 1: Pre-Preparatory Work
Before we make any changes, we assess your child’s unique sleep landscape—their sensory needs, anxiety triggers, medical considerations, current sleep environment, and family dynamics. This foundation is critical.
Phase 2: Incremental Changes
We make small, strategic adjustments one at a time. This might include optimizing the sleep environment for sensory comfort, building predictable routines with visual supports, adjusting timing, or addressing nutrition and activity patterns. Each phase can take longer than a week—and that’s okay. We move at your child’s pace.
Phase 3: Sleep Training (When Needed)
Some children improve their sleep significantly just from environmental and routine changes. Others benefit from gentle sleep training methods adapted to their specific needs. We only move to this phase when your child is ready and when your family feels prepared.
Every step is individualized. What works for one child with autism may not work for another. What helps with anxiety-driven sleep resistance looks different than what helps with ADHD-related hyperarousal. I tailor everything to your child.
Who I Serve
I specialize in supporting families of children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
- Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)
Special Needs Sleep Service Packages
All packages require your child’s pediatrician’s approval and support before we begin. I believe in collaborative care and work alongside your medical team.

Important Information
All packages are flexible and adaptable to your child’s individual needs and progress. Some children need more time in certain phases, and that’s completely normal.
Pediatrician collaboration is required. Sleep challenges can sometimes indicate underlying medical issues. I work with your child’s healthcare team to ensure we’re addressing sleep holistically.
I know my scope. If I suspect another diagnosis that may be hindering progress, observe self-harming behaviors, or encounter factors beyond my expertise as a sleep consultant, I will refer you to appropriate behavioral health or mental health professionals. Your child’s wellbeing is always the priority.
