You’re Not Alone in This Journey

If you’re the parent of a child with autism, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, or sensory processing challenges, you already know that sleep doesn’t come easily. You’ve likely tried “all the things” only to find that conventional sleep advice doesn’t work for your unique child. You’re exhausted, worried, and wondering if peaceful nights are even possible for your family.
They are. And I’m here to help you get there—gently, gradually, and in a way that honors your child’s needs.
A Different Approach for Different Needs
Sleep training for neurodivergent and special needs children isn’t one-size-fits-all. It requires patience, flexibility, and a deep understanding of how sensory sensitivities, anxiety, attention differences, and developmental considerations affect sleep.
My approach is phased and personalized, designed to help your family feel successful in small, manageable increments rather than overwhelming you with drastic overnight changes.
How We Work Together:
Phase 1: Pre-Preparatory Work
Before we make any changes, we assess your child’s unique sleep landscape—their sensory needs, anxiety triggers, medical considerations, current sleep environment, and family dynamics. This foundation is critical.
Phase 2: Incremental Changes
We make small, strategic adjustments one at a time. This might include optimizing the sleep environment for sensory comfort, building predictable routines with visual supports, adjusting timing, or addressing nutrition and activity patterns. Each phase can take longer than a week—and that’s okay. We move at your child’s pace.
Phase 3: Sleep Training (When Needed)
Some children improve their sleep significantly just from environmental and routine changes. Others benefit from gentle sleep training methods adapted to their specific needs. We only move to this phase when your child is ready and when your family feels prepared.
Every step is individualized. What works for one child with autism may not work for another. What helps with anxiety-driven sleep resistance looks different than what helps with ADHD-related hyperarousal. I tailor everything to your child.

Important Information
All packages are flexible and adaptable to your child’s individual needs and progress. Some children need more time in certain phases, and that’s completely normal.
Pediatrician collaboration is required. Sleep challenges can sometimes indicate underlying medical issues. I work with your child’s healthcare team to ensure we’re addressing sleep holistically.
I know my scope. If I suspect another diagnosis that may be hindering progress, observe self-harming behaviors, or encounter factors beyond my expertise as a sleep consultant, I will refer you to appropriate behavioral health or mental health professionals. Your child’s wellbeing is always the priority.
